Walrus Knitting Kit

This happy little walrus knitting kit by Sincerely Louise was inspired by a visit to London's Horniman Museum!

The walrus is knitted using straight needles (no working in the round) and is aimed at confident knitters as it uses loop stitch and horizontal pleats (though tutorials have been included for both techniques).

Other stitches used are knit, purl, increase, decrease, loop and horizontal pleat stitch, and a tutorial has been included for sewing up.

The kit contains all materials needed:

• A step by step pattern and photo sewing up booklet in English. 
• Scheepjes yarn (78% cotton, 22% acrylic)
• A pair of 3.5mm (US 4) knitting needles
• 150g toy stuffing
• Plastic needle for sewing
• 2 x 12mm toy eyes and washers
• Sincerely Louise project bag

This is the smaller size walrus kit which measures approximately 40cm x 24cm x 16cm (16in x 9.5in x 6.5in).
