Purple Garden Embroidery Kit

This colourful embroidery kit by Beaks and Bobbins includes a printed background on organic cotton with all the instructions you need to add the stitching and embellishments (sequins and beads) to bring it to life. All threads and embellishments are included, alongside calico backing fabric and needles.

Use stranded cottons and hand dyed ‘Stef Francis’ silks to create the elegant Hollyhock and delicate Verbena, adding a scattering of subtle sequins and beads to complete the glistening Seed Heads.

The finished piece will measure 16cm x 16cm (6.3 inches) which means it will look fabulous in a square picture frame when it's finished.

The instructions are there as a guide, including labelled diagrams and a comprehensive stitch glossary, making the kit suitable for those wanting to build their confidence. However, the kit can also act as a springboard to experiment with your own ideas for those who are more advanced.

You will just need scissors and a 9 inch embroidery hoop to work it on, which you can buy from our Haberdashery section.
