Dragon Knitting Kit

This fantastical Dragon head kit by Sincerely Louise is one of her latest creations and we have one proudly on display in our window.

The dragon is knitted using straight needles (no working in the round) and is an intermediate knit, as it uses bobbles and pico edges. Stitches used are knit, purl, increasing and decreasing (Kfb, K2tog and SKP), making a bobble, pico edge and  mattress stitch for sewing up. 

The kit contains all materials needed:

• A step by step pattern and photo sewing up booklet in English. 
• Scheepjes yarn (70% cotton, 30% acrylic)
• A pair of 5mm (US 8) knitting needles
• Mini Sincerely Louise trophy board (for mounting it onto the wall)
• 50g toy stuffing
• Sewing needle and sewing yarn
• 2 x 15mm toy eyes and washers
• Sincerely Louise project bag.

The pattern can be scaled up, but this kit makes a dragon head which will measure approximately 32cm x 20cm x 21cm (12.5in x 8in x 8.5in).
