Cornish Coast Embroidery Kit

This popular embroidery kit by Beaks and Bobbins includes a printed background on organic cotton with all the instructions you need to add the stitching and embellishments (sequins and beads) to bring it to life. All threads and embellishments are included, alongside calico backing fabric and needles.

Illustrated, step by step instructions guide you through how to use stranded cottons and silks to build up the design using a variety of interesting stitches including back stitch, fly stitch, chain stitch and French knots. You will also be guided through the process of adding a subtle sparkle to your work by using seed beads to anchor down delicate sequins and incorporating fine gold thread into your stitches. 

The printed area measures 16cm x 16cm (6.3 inches) which means it will look fabulous in a square picture frame when it's finished.

The instructions are there as a guide, including labelled diagrams and a comprehensive stitch glossary, making the kit suitable for those wanting to build their confidence. However, the kit can also act as a springboard to experiment with your own ideas for those who are more advanced.

You will just need scissors and a 9 inch embroidery hoop to work it on.
