Alliums Embroidery Kit

This pretty embroidery kit featuring allium and bees is the latest release by Beaks and Bobbins. It includes a printed background on organic cotton with all the instructions you need to add the stitching and embellishments (sequins and beads) to bring it to life. All threads and embellishments are included, alongside calico backing fabric and needles.

An ideal kit for beginners, you will learn and practice an interesting variety of stitches including split stitch, fly stitch, and back stitch, as well as how to use 'whipping' to incorporate fine gold thread into your work. If you fancy more of a challenge there is the option to give 'pistil stitch' a whirl! Finish off your work by adding a delicate scattering of seed beads. If you are new to stitching, don't worry as the illustrated instructions provide all the guidance you need.

The printed area measures 16cm x 16cm (6.3 inches) which means it will look fabulous in a square picture frame when it's finished.

You will just need scissors and a 9 inch embroidery hoop to work it on, which you can buy from our Haberdashery section if needed.
